Meet Pete:

Hi there - I’m Pete Cianci, LCSW, a licensed psychotherapist based in North Carolina. I’m so glad you’re here.

I strongly believe in using evidence-based practices to help people feel better as quickly as possible. I leverage cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and acceptance & commitment therapy (ACT) to help people reduce their symptoms and improve their own lives. If you feel you might be struggling with anxiety, depression, anger, trauma / PTSD, obsessions / OCD, relationship problems, gambling, substance use or another issue - I believe I can help.

No one wants to be in therapy forever, and most people don't want to be in therapy at all. That's why my goal is to help you "become your own therapist" so you can get out of my virtual office and back to the life you want to live.
